Ruth Anne Wylie

Ruth Anne Wylie was born in Urbana, Illinois on August 27, 1939. She is the daughter of Doris K. Wylie Hoskins, and is one of ten children.

She attended grade, junior high and high school in Urbana, graduating with the class of 1957. After graduation, she accepted employment with the State Universities Retirement System. After more than 20 years as Secretary to the Executive Director, she retired from this position.

Ruth was a 25-year member of the Provena Covenant Medical Center Auxiliary and has served as a member of R.S.V.P. and as an Usher with the Krannert Center Senior Volunteers. She has rendered volunteer services with the American Red Cross. She has also been a volunteer with the Chanute Aerospace Octave Museum, Districts #4 and 116 of the Public School Systems, and most recently, the Early American Museum in Mahomet. She has also been a Lector at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.

Ruth Anne Wylie passed away in 2016, at age 77.
